Sarah King was born in August 1860 in New York. She married Nelson Peet (1853-1919). They may have had as many as nineteen children, born between 1879 and 1906, with one, and possibly two, sets of twins. Sarah King, born in New York, and Nelson Peet, born in Canada, are mentioned in the birth record of their daughter, Lizzie Peet, born in 1899 in Clinton, Worcester, Massachusetts. [2]

Sarah King and Nelson Peet are mentioned in the marriage record of their son, Nelson Peet (Jr.), 21, who married Albina Moisan in 1906 in Clinton, Worcester, Massachusetts. [3]

In 1900, the Peet family lived in Clinton, Worcester, Massachusetts. The household included Nelson Peet, 50, born in Canada; his wife Sarah, 40, born in New York; their ten children, all born in New York: Hattie, 21; Everett, 7; Emma, 17; Freddie, 12; Lizzie, 1; Mary, 11; Ida, 19; Albania, 5; Nelson, 15; and Henry, 7.
