Biography
Margaret was born on March 3rd, 1914 at 12, Grampian Avenue in Belfast, Ireland. She was the daughter of Robert Kerr (A cashier) and Adaline Harris.[1]
On June 22, 1940 Margaret married Robert Boyd in St. Donard's Church (Church of Ireland) in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Robert was recorded as a Bachelor, age 27, and a Sub. Lieutenant in the Royal Navy residing at 21 Mountcollyer Avenue in Belfast. Margaret was recorded as a Spinster, age 26, residing at 5 Windgrove Gardens in Belfast. The witnesses were Robert's Sister Mary Jane ("Mamie") Boyd and her soon to be husband William Montgomery.[2]
Margaret passed away on March 25th, 1975. She is interred in St. John's Church of Ireland Graveyard, in Islandmagee, County Antrim, Northern Ireland.[3]
