Biography
Elizabeth ______, Widow of Peter Johnson. Peter died in 1650. In 1652 Elizabeth was in prison, for adultery with Thomas Newton. She had there a child Benoni Newton by Newton, who was apprenticed to Nathaniel Ruscoe. Peter Johnson's estate was divided among "the Mother and Children" 1 Mar 1654/5.
Elizabeth m. 2nd John Fossecar.
Birth estimated 1620 based on estimated births of children. She affirmed her sons inventory 12 Aug 1659 and died somtime after that date.

Notes for profile of John Fossecar
At New London in 1648; removed to Fairfield and bought land (recorded 29 May 1656) from Edward Adams. He sold land to Giles Smith before 6 Nov 1658. John married Elizabeth (____) widow of Peter Johnson.[1]
