She was the first wife of David N Johnson (1857-1920). They married after 1880 but before Oct 1888. ^[1]

They had at least 3 children:

• William H Johnson (1889-)
• Charles S Johnson (1891-)
• Auguste Johnson (1894-)

Minnie died on July 5, 1896 and was laid to rest with her babe in her arms in The Wilson Graveyard in Montgomery County, Kentucky. She shares a stone with David and Rosa. ^{[3] [1][2]}

Possibility of her being Mannie Chaney

Only Minnie I have found in the area around her age was Minnie Sumners. She was living with her parents in Aaron’s Run in 1880.
