↑ Moses Franklin Farnsworth, Farnsworth Memorial II, Second Edition Revised by Glen Nye, Original 1897, Revised 1974, pp. 836-837 Text: "Henry Farnsworth is first of record in Loudon Co, VA. He and his family made their way south and settled in East TN on a land grant of almost 1000 acres on Richland Creek, tributary of the Nalichucky River, which becomes the Tennessee River. Henry was on the tax list in 1783 and by 1805 all his sons were too. An Adonijah Farnsworth was also in Loudoun Co at this time, he & wife Hannah had two boys John & Robert. Henry Farnsworth had 10 children: John, George, Robert, Benjamin, Henry Jr., David, Jane, Mary, Sarah & Perline (Salina)."
↑ FamilySearch https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/collaborate/LTVX-6X8 Note: A land record from Loudoun County, Virginia shows that Samuel and Catharine Massey, Samuel Farnsworth and Jonathan Farnsworth - all heirs of Adonijah Farnsworth - sold land to John Farnsworth on 10 Mar 1810. The widow of Adonijah, Hannah Bond, is also mentioned, which means that she had married a Bond after Adonijah Farnsworth's death.
