Formerly her surname was Roberts, but no reliable sources have been found. Her surname is unknown. See G2G discussion: Darby Field.

I cannot find any evidence that Darby Fields was married to Agnes Roberts. Noyes, et. al. says that Darby Fields was married to Agnes, but no surname is supplied. I have not removed the connection, but more evidence is needed for the marriage.[1]
