Biography

Agnes —, the wife of Edward Reye (Rey), husbandman of Horton Grange, Ponteland parish, Northumberland, England, was born about 1510; and died after she was named in her husband's will, dated 21 July 1571:

I will that all of my worldly goods to be divided into three equal parts, one part to my wife Agnes, and the other two parts to my children Edward, John, Clement, Roger, William, Robert, Isabella and Agnes equally. I give to my son Edward the lease and right of my house and farm in Horton Grange. I give my household stuff to my wife and appoint her and my son Edward Excutors. ^[1][2]
