From Quaker record, death was on "8-3-1699". The Quaker "8th" month was October in 1699, and 10 days are added for leap year correction since 1582, yielding 13 Oct 1699 as the Gregorian date.
Barbara Prichard, widow of Philadelphia, wrote her will the 30th day of the ninth month called September 1699. Daughter Ann/Anne (spelled both ways in the copy of the will) was given the house and the home lot, providing she paid her brother Benjamin £10 and her siblings Benjamin and Martha £15 (? the verbiage is unclear). She had three years to make the payments. The witnesses were Ralph Jackson, George Fitzwater, Henry Edgcombe, and Elizabeth Jackson. On the 10d 12m 1699, the will was brought by executor Matthew Prichard (with the four witnesses) before Pat Robinson, secretary of the province of Pennsylvania.[7]
