Biography

Eliza Bower married Matthew Rowe (abt.1812-1860) around 1837 when their first child was born, Matthew died of the DTs in 1860, leaving Eliza with seven children, ages 18 to 2. Eliza lived with daughter, Olivia, in Dutchess County, New York, when the 1875 census was taken.
