Biography

William Unsworth married Mary Aldcroft in 1856 and their marriage was registered in Manchester, Lancashire, England.^[1] Witnesses at marriage: James Ridgway and Ann Ridgway (nee Aldcroft) and Richard Unsworth - brother of William. Living on Bridge St. at time of marriage

In 1857 the family was living at 144 Topping Street Ardwick (Emma's baptism record from St. Thomas, Ardwick)

In July 1860 they live on Marsden Street C. On M. (Richard's baptism record from St. Thomas, Ardwick)

In 1861 census his occupation was warehouse man - shipping lived at 105 London Rd

1871 census was a rent collector died sometime between 1871 and 1881 census (presumed as he does not appear in the 1881 census)

Have a family postcard (from his son Richard to Richard's sister Ethel) dated 1910 showing St. Mary's Upton in the Hundred of Wirral as his burial spot.
