(1927). POLICE COURT --o-- At the local Court of Petty Sessions on Tuesday, before Mr. P. J. Conlon, P.M., and Messrs. C. W. Grant, J. Nott-Marsh. and C. Gray, J'sP. . . . Ronald Unthank was charged by Sen. Const. Elliott. with the use of obscene language on August 27, at Frankston. Walter Unthank was charged with the use of threatening language in a public place on the same date. Neither of the defendants appeared and the cases were heard together. Sen. Const,. Elliott said he was conducting the traffic at the corner of Bay and Davey streets after a football match. He saw the first defendant struggling with another man and heard him use the language (written down and handed to the bench). Defendant tried to run away but he (witness) caught him. Walter Unthank came to witness and said: Let him go; I'll get a ------- gun and shoot you, if you don't. The P.M.: It is a very bad sample of language.
