In 1860, she was age 2 and in her parents' household [NOTE: Family name is misspelled as "Ondie" on census.] in Muskingum County, Ohio, with three older siblings also in the home. Her father passed away in 1866, leaving her mother with six young children, at least one step-son, and a farm valued at about $1,700. The 1870 census shows the family in Cass Township, Muskingum County, Ohio, with Catharine as head of household. Catherine and the family remained in the same location at the time of the 1880 census.
She was 24 when she got married and 34 when she had Vallie. In 1900, Wellington (37, IN), Anna (42, OH) and the children were living in Dallas County, Iowa. They had been married 17 years, with 4 children born and 4 in the home, and they owned a farm with a mortgage.
Anna Catherine passed away in 1937 at the age of 79 and is buried at Elmwood Cemetery in Dallas County, Iowa, where she shares a grave marker with her husband.
