Tanie was born on January 1, 1870 in Burkesville, Cumberland County, Kentucky.

She married George Ambrose Skipworth on September 22, 1887 in Burkesville, Cumberland County, Kentucky.[1]

Tanie passed away on October 25, 1969 in Sherman, Grayson County, Texas.[2]

She is buried at the Van Alstyne Cemetery in Van Alstyne, Grayson County, Texas.[3]
