John was born about 1730 (estimated from age at marriage). John lived in Lamyatt when he leased 2 parts of 2 enclosed grounds with Edward King of Brereton. [1] John Uppill married Ann Abbot on 4 February 1759 in Charlton Mackrell. [2] They lived in Charlton Mackrell. John leased 2 acres of arable land in a common field at Lamyatt to William Horsington for L100. [3] In the same year, John and Ann and Thomas and Mary Hooper made a final concord to obtain 2 acres of land, 6 acres of meadow, 6 acres of pasture and another 7 acres of land in Wincanton and Lamyatt. [4]
He passed away in 1787.[5]
