"Cordelia Hipkins was the oldest daughter of Capt. William Upshaw who came from Gloucester to Essex about 1714."[1]
"We believe Sarah was a daughter of Thomas Hipkins and Cordelia Upshaw Hipkings (Hipkins) who were on Cockelshell Creek sometime before 1716.[2]
