Biography
Stephen was born in 1775. He was the son of John Upson and Lois Atwater. In 1805, he married Sally Weller. They had seven children all born in Ohio:
- Roland W Upson (b-1806)
- Sally C Upson (b-1808, d-1829) married Hale
- Frederick Upson (b-1810, d-1819)
- Eliza Upson (b-1813) married Washburn
- Lucy Upson (b-1815, d-1816)
- Linus Upson (b-1817)
- Frederick A Upson (b-1821)
He passed away in 1850.
