In the 1911 England Census Robert Wood 29 born abt 1882 in Macclesfield, Cheshire, England, police constable, was head of his household in 10 Norbury Avenue, Hyde Cheshire. Other Household Members were his wife Ethel Wood 28 Macclesfield, and their children, Robert Wood 8 Hyde, and Marjorie Wood 3 Hyde. Also his brother Peter Wood 20 Macclesfield, cotton weaver, single. In the 1939 England and Wales Register Robert Wood 58 married born 30 Jun 1881, was head of his household in Bush Inn, 278 Market St, Hyde, Cheshire, England. Occupation: Licenced Victualler. The other Household Member was his wife Ethel Wood 57 married born 5 Oct 1882. [2] She passed away in 1968.
