Anna was born in 1830. She was the daughter of John Upward and Leah New. She passed away in 1924.

- Obituary published 6 Jun 1824 in The Register published in Adelaide stated that she was born 17 Nov 1830 and died the Wednesday before her obituary was published. Lived in Walkerville, after travelling to Adelaide from Plymouth Devon on board the ship China with her husband.
