John Urquhart was born at Stuartfield, Old Deer, Aberdeenshire, Scotland in 1829 and baptised on the 21st of September, the son of Robert Urquhart and Elspet Reid.
In 1841, John was living at Damhead with his brothers, William and Donald. 1841 Aberdeenshire (ABD) Old Deer Old Deer 228 18 18 2 Damhead
John Urquhart was a Mason, never married, and passed away at the age of 70 years, on the 5th of May 1889 at Stuartfield, Old Deer, Aberdeenshire with his sister Ann in attendence.[1]
