Sarah was born in 1839. She passed away in 1897.

Note: error on gravestone which indicates death in January. She died 16 June 1897 in Montreal, and was buried in Chatham. Her husband Hermann died in January 1906, which was probably cause for confusion when the memorial stone was engraved for Sarah in St-Anthony Cemetery, Chatham.
