Ellen Urquhart was born in Calcutta on 27 January 1834 in Calcutta, Bengal, India. She was the daughter of William Hamilton Urquhart (An Indigo Planter) and his wife Alice Smith.[1]
She was baptised on the 16th of February 1834 in the church of St John, Calcutta, bengal, india. ,.
At the time of the 1851 census Ellen was in England studying at a boarding school in Kensington. [2]
Ellen died in 1917.[3]
Ellen Urquhart was married to her 1st husband, Francis Berkeley Drummond in 1855[4] [5]Francis died 27 June 1859. [5]
After Francis' death she was married to William Molloy Stewart on 31 May 1864 in Mozufferpore, Bengal, India.
