Birth Janelle Claire Usher was born in Port Macquarie, New South Wales, Australia on Friday 21 March 1952. She is the oldest daughter of Norman Usher and Gwendoline Gam. Janelle is still living, in 2022.
Janelle was born in Port Macquarie and shortly after the family moved to Bowraville, New South Wales, Australia, to live on a dairy farm. Janelle lived there until she was 7 years old, then the family moved back to Port Macquarie to live. Janelle was a keen Brownie and then a Girl Guide. Janelle became a Queen's Guide after going after the achievement 3 times. She studied to be a secretary for 1 year at Wauchope Technical College. She would catch the bus from Port Macquarie Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 4.00. After finishing the course Janelle became the secretary for an Architect in Port Macquarie. She fell in love and married at 20 and soon after left work to become a stay-at-home mum of 3 boys.
Marriage No. 1 Janelle Claire Usher married Rodney Ernest John Hollis on Saturday 29 April 1972 at 3.00 p.m. in the Presbyterian Church, Port Macquarie, New South Wales, Australia. Janelle's Marriage ended abruptly when Rodney Ernest John Hollis died at his home at Settlement Point Road, Port Macquarie, at 6.30 a.m., Tuesday the 2 July 2013 while getting ready to go to work on a property at Bonny Hills, New South Wales, Australia.
Marriage No. 2 Janelle Claire Hollis (Born Usher) married Harold John Whitbread on Wednesday 22 June 2016 at 9.00 a.m. at Bellingen Court House, New South Wales, Australia. On the marriage day, we had to take a camper up to Coffs Harbour after we were married and leave it there. That meant we drove separately to Bellingen and drove separately from Bellingen to Coffs Harbour, so we separated soon after we got married. A bit of trivia. We dropped the camper off and then drove together back to Kempsey, and went to the local pub Chinese restaurant for our wedding breakfast. All done by ourselves. The witnesses were people from the courthouse. Had the best wedding.
Residence Janelle and Harold Whitbread live in Kempsey, New South Wales, Australia.
Children Janelle and Harold have 6 children between them, 9 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. Posted on Saturday, 16 December 2023.
Medical Janelle was born with no vision out of the sides of her eyes, so found backing a car very difficult and learned how to back a car using rear vision mirrors very well. She was also born dyslexic, she has glasses with Irlen Syndrome colored lenses in them, and the lenses have improved life 100 percent.

That being so, can I refer you to Comment/s on your profile where you were asked to "please not remove valid information, especially categories".
And yet you continue to do so; calling it Bio improvement. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Elliott-20822
It's to be hoped, you are overcoming the attitude and antagonism against the WikiTree guidelines which saw a defiant "I am the profile manager. Cheers, Janelle Whitbread".
Perhaps, in time, you'll gain insight of the Honor Code, appreciate the necessity of guidelines, and with respect to profiled families, correct those profiles such as https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Tutt-569

PS: you also disregarded my request to remain on certain Trusted Lists after I elevated you to manager, removing me and also a closer relative and then locking the profiles that had been fully open for years preventing any collaboration.
I had a full knee reconstruction done in October 2023, and I could not focus properly on Wikkitree so I put you on the California Guidoux Family, and a few other profiles thinking I was doing the right thing as it takes a year to get over the knee and I have to have another opp probably this year for the other. See the knee doc. next Wednesday. Was in the hospital for 2 weeks then 6 weeks 2 times a week for 6 hours a week for intense physiotherapy, driving, and an hour for each appointment. Lots of rest and sleeping, painkillers plus all the usual things of cooking, washing, cleaning, and exercise at home. Then being locked off Wikkitree, profiles were orphaned while I was off Wikkitree because I did not take up the offer of having a Mentor. I am back on Wikkitree with a Mentor, learning how to collaborate, and sort out problems without getting and being angry, learning Wikkitree rulings, etc.. I am sorry I did not collaborate for you to be on the Guidoux profile manager, I thought you would like to be able to join up the Australian Guidoux with the Californian Guidoux. I have found out as much as I can at the moment and have left messages on what I have found out. You being in America I thought you might be able to get your hands on a little more info for the profiles. My family and I will be working on my dad's profile under my mentor's guidance when we are ready. Cheers, Janelle Whitbread.
Please don't add "Born in the Colony" stickers to profiles of people born AFTER 1900, it causes data error 847 Born after template time frame. Use the "Australia Sticker" instead. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Template:Australia_Sticker
Thanks, regards, Margaret, Australia Project.
The "Born in the Colony" Sticker is incorrect, the dates should 1788-1901, this error could be corrected by the Australia Project. It would also be incorrect to use "The Australia Sticker" before 1901. Regards Harold

If we added a to someone born after 1901, we made a mistake, it happens. WikiTree police can how relax, we are out of here,
Letting you know that I recently sent you a private message. Please could you check your spam folder if you haven't received it. Alternatively, I'm happy to resend. Talk soon! Gillian

Thanks.
Please refrain from adding back removed stickers. Please refrain from removing valid categories. And please refrain from altering location fields when the format used by the profile manager is valid.
Regards, Melanie Paul, Team Leader, Australia Project.
I send you a request to be on the Trusted list of https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/McNess-20 on 29 June in order to add sources and connections.
Haven't heard anything back from you. Is there a problem?

The profiles in question are already open, so you can make additions/changes already.

I was about to create a profile for a Bridget QUINLAN and wikitree came up with a close match. Are you able to see if this would be the same Bridget? No hurry. Cheers.
Bridget QUINLAN was born in Tipperary, Ireland c.1846.
Bridget emigrated to Australia as a child with her parents and sister. "QUINLAN Edmund 28 - Clonoulty, Co Tipperary, Mary 25 (Ballyhea?) Co Tipperary, Bridget 5, Sarah 3." - NRS53164_4790/Emperor 6.6.1851.Shipping Records Ireland to Australia

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!
Because pre-1700 ancestors are usually shared by many descendants, collaborating with members of the projects which coordinate them is essential.
Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or topic. Review the project pages to learn about resources and guidelines as well as how to collaborate with the project members.
Can't find what you're looking for? Let me know, and I can make some suggestions! :-)
Remember to cite reliable sources in pre-1700 profiles you manage, or edit. (See: Pre-1700 Reliable Sources).

As you have been a member of WikiTree for a few weeks now I thought I would check in to see how you are getting on with the site.
Has the New Member How-To been helpful or left you with any questions?

Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile. The links will work from there.
Karen ~ WikiTree Messenger
I have gone through all the channel of contacting the profile manager, then by email, then contacting Wikitree? I think the person might have died, so I would be willing to adopt the profile.
I don't want to make a new profile when there is already one.
Thanking you for your help.
Regards, Janelle Whitbread
I am sorry that you have not had any luck with getting into your relatives profile. I have had a look at it and it is now an "open"profile, this is shown by the open padlock in the top right-hand corner, so if you click on the "adopt this profile" link you will then be able to adopt him.
I hope this helps, any problems please let me know
Take care Karen
