John Usherwood; b. 24 Mar 1883 the son of Alber Usherwood and Sarah Oldham;
He arrived in Boston 11 Jul 1888 aboard the Iowa" from Liverpool, England with 3 siblings

JOHN USHERWOOD
OSCEOLA MILLS — Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 p, in, from the Heath Funeral Home here for John Usherwood, who died yesterday at 4 a. m. at his home at 306 Blanchard St., Osceola Mills.
Rev. Graeme Sieber will officiate and interment will follow in the I. 0. 0. F. Cemetery at Brisbin.
Elks memorial services will be held tonight at 8 o'clock a n d Masonic services will be conducted tomorrow at 8 p. m. at the funeral home.
Friends may call at the funeral home tonight, tomorrow afternoon and evening and on Thursday until time of services.
Mr. Usherwood was born in England March 22, 1884, a son of Albert and Sarah Oldham Usherwood. He was employed by Meyer Bros., of Philipsburg.
He was a member of Osceola Mills Lodge No. 515, F. & A. M.; Osceola Lodge No. 154, Loyal Order of Moose; Philipsburg Lodge No. 1173 B.P.O,E.;, and the Columbia Fire Co: of, Osceola Mills.
Surviving are his wife, the former Mary E. Jenkins of Houtzdale; a brother: Harry, Pittsburgh; three sisters: Mrs. Catherine Key, Pittsburgh; Mrs. Rose Loomis, Pasadena, Calif.; and Mrs. Florence 'Irvin, Osceola Mills.
