Elizabeth (Usherwood) Burr was born in Horsmonden, Kent, England.

Elizabeth Usherwood was born on 31 Aug 1822 in Marden, Kent, England to parents Stephen Usherwood and Susanna Boorman. She was baptised on 27 Jul 1823 in Horsmonden, Kent, England.^[1][2][3]

At age 17 she had a daughter, Susannah Usherwood, on 23 Mar 1839 in Horsmonden, Kent, England.^[4]

In 1841 she was age 20 and single. She and her daughter Susanna were living with her parents, Stephen and Susanna Usherwood, and her siblings Sophia and Horace in Horsmonden, Kent, England.^[5]

At age 23 she married John Burr on 2 May 1844 in Staplehurst, Kent, England.^[6][7][8]
