John was born before 26 Oct 1755. He is the son of John Utting and Elizabeth Brooks.

  • John UTTING (1752-1839) was my 5th great grandfather. I have a copy of his death certificate which states that he died at Oulton Workhouse on 15 Feb 1839 and I have seen the original of his burial record. He was buried on 21 Feb 1839 in Gisleham, Suffolk ... (sadly no headstone). He was 87 when he died so was born around 1751 or 1752.

I have seen the parish record of his marriage to Mary BOON in PAKEFIELD on 3 Feb 1783

A number of DNA matches give evidence for this John UTTING who married Mary BOON being the son of John UTTING & Elizabeth BROOKS born in 1755
