Biography
Roy Gaston Vail was born on September 1, 1894, in Plainfield, New Jersey. He married Ida Vera Stiehl on October 11, 1930, in Mount Vernon, New York. They had two children during their marriage. He died on May 24, 1980, in his hometown at the age of 85, and was buried there.
