Anne was born on 8 Jul 1764 in Nine Partners, Dutchess, New York Colony. She was the daughter of Aaron Vail and Martha (Ward) Vail.^[1]

She married Solomon Frost on 25 Oct 1781 at Nine Partners.^[1] The following excerpt is from the records of the Nine Partners monthly meeting:^[1]

Nine Partners Twenty Fifth day of the Tenth Month in the Year of Christian Account 1781.
Solomon Frost son of Isaac & Mary of Nine Partners and Anna Vail, Daughter of Aaron? deceased and Martha his wife both of Ninepartners … Declared their Intention of … Marriage … at the Ninepartners … consent of Parents and others Concerned … allowed to proceed therein
