On 19 April 1918, a proclamation was made that all alien females had to be registered. Amelia's daughter, Marie C. FEY presented herself to register for this document at G. G. Park Station, [probably in San Francisco, California] on 17 June 1918. On this document, Marie C. (VOLKMAR) FEY:
- stated that her father's name was Christian VOLKMAR who was born in Germany and was deceased.
- stated that her mother's name was Emilie STEIN who was born in Wisbaden, Germany and was deceased.
- stated that she had no brothers or sisters.
- Stated that she lived at her residence for 5 years at 1223 6th Avenue, San Francisco California
- Stated she was born on 14 July 1866 in San Francisco, California
- Stated taht she was married to Chas. A. FEY (same address)
- Stated that she had 3 children: Alma (born 18 April 1890); Elsie (Born: 29 December 1892); Edmund (Born: 2 February 1896) - Resided in Camp Lewis, Washington - he was fighting for the USA in WWI.
- Stated that her husband applied for natralization papers in Chicago, Illinois.
- Stated that she could speak, read and write English and German.
- Her description was given as a 51 Year and 11 month old woman who was 5 feet 2 and a half inches and weighed 152 pounds. She had Brown and Grey hair and Brown Eyes. Her picture that was attached to the file showed that she also wore glasses.
- This file contained a set of finger prints taken by the registration officer.
