DNA Proof Several descendants of Edmund through his son Lawrence and daughter Shirley have taken DNA tests with results which prove the blood connection, and one descendant of his older half-sister Mary Whalen ne Vallier has also taken a test that shows the blood connection to Edmund's father.[35][36]
