BENTONVILLE - Letha Laura Cornwell, 99, of Bentonville died June 15, 2009, at her home. She was born March 22, 1910, in Louisa County, Iowa, to Laura Havenhill and Edward Vandemark.

She was a dental assistant for many years. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Winfield, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her husband.Survivors include two sons; Robert Cornwell and wife Phyllis of Branson, Mo., Neil Cornwell and wife Sharon of Winfield, Iowa; a daughter, Marlene Evans and husband James of Philo, Ill.; a sister, Lola Cromwell of California; numerous grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date by the family.Memorials may be sent to First Presbyterian Church in Winfield, Iowa.Arrangements were by Epting Funeral Home in Bentonville. ^[1]
