Biography
Delbert, b 1844 s/o Abner VanDeusen Olive Mead . He served in Co. A, 159th New York Vol. Inf., War of the Rebellion; enlisted Sept. 6, 1862, and was killed in action, Sept, 19, 1864, at Opequon,Va. His father, Abner, filed application for pension Sept. 2, 1879, (No. 254,745) but the claim was never allowed,[1]
