Abt 1742 to Deborah was the daughter of Tunis Van Pelt, she married John Van Arsdale about 1742 in New York. They had five children together. Deborah died of small pox in 1756 in New York City. James Riker, Evacuation Day wrote "About six weeks after the birth of her son John, having come to the city of New York, with her infant, she sicken(e)d and died of the small pox." [3]
