Biography

Charles was born in 1846. He passed away in 1928 of Broncho Pneumonia (Hypatatic). On the death certificate his parents are listed as Adam VanSickle and Catherine Drake.

Family as listed in the 1881 Canadian Census are: Charles (age 37), wife Emma (age 32), daughter Alberta (age 10), daughter Minerva (age 8), daughter Elizabeth A. (age 6), and daughter Jane M. (age 3).

Family as listed in the 1891 Canadian Census are: Charles (head, age 46), Cynthia (wife, age 40, using first name this time and not Emma), Simeon? Minerva (daughter, age 18), Elizabeth (daughter, age 16), Mary (daughter, age 13, using middle name this time), and Melissa (daughter, age 8). Interesting that one married daughter (Minerva Simeon / Simons) is living in the home.
