And we're always looking for volunteers to assist in different ways.

Thanks for completing the tags indicating you wish to research/document your family history. I have found WikiTree to be an excellent tool for research and collaboration. You are now a confirmed member of the WikiTree! Thank you for volunteering.
Visit our WikiTree Community Membership page to see all the benefits of being a member.
Have fun and ask for help if you need it! WikiTree members are always eager to offer guidance to a fellow genealogist.
Our Mentor Team are a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to help you with specific problems if you have any.
Great to have you on board and good luck growing your branches.
Ludwig :)
Sorry to hear you havent progress with your GEDCOM import. The maximum records you can import is 2,500 records. If you have more you can split your GEDCOM file in manageable files as follows splitting a GEDCOM.
You may already have read the following help page How to use WikiTree and also may be useful for your further WikiTree use.
If you have any further questions about your GEDCOM or our process, you can contact our GEDCOM Manager for assistance.

A warm welcome to the WikiTree family! The initial email from us has helpful links that will get you started on WikiTree, which is not like any genealogy site youve ever used and it is FREE. WikiTree is different because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we all work together as a BIG collaborative team!
What brings you to WikiTree? Do you have research youd like to share? Are you interested in how your family fits into the big tree? When you confirm your email address, youll have an opportunity to volunteer and tell us about your genealogical interests.
Once you volunteer, one of our Greeters will be happy to confirm your membership, and youll be on your way!
Were really glad youre here. More importantly, have fun growing your family tree and connecting to persons with the same interest.
Ludwig :)
