I am finding that perhaps I have made a mistake, but research is still need. I have managed access to some other publications, and have found that some state no third marriage and some do. This is confusing, but in "The Van Voorhees Family, Vol 1", 1984 from the Van Voorhees Association, it states no third marriage. I am leaving my comment in the profile for the time being until more research is conducted or someone can find definitive information.
Voorhees-70 and Van Voorhees-10 appear to represent the same person because: These records appear to be the same person, with a variation of the spelling of the last name. The wives and children are duplicates as well.
Van Voorhees-107 and Van Voorhees-10 appear to represent the same person because: This is the oldest paternal ancestor in this chain in need of a merge into the NNS PPP. No tree conflicts. Thanks!
Van Voorhees-87 and Van Voorhees-10 appear to represent the same person because: This is the oldest paternal ancestor in this chain in need of a merge into the NNS PPP. No tree conflicts. Thanks!
Van Voorhees-100 and Van Voorhees-10 appear to represent the same person because: This is the oldest paternal ancestor in this chain in need of a merge into the NNS PPP. No tree conflicts. The alternative death Died December 28, 1724 in Flatlands, Kings, New York, USA is not as common as the move prevalent 1713, but we can look at that later. Thanks!
Van Voorhees-74 and Van Voorhees-10 appear to represent the same person because: This is the oldest paternal ancestor in this chain in need of a merge into the NNS PPP. No tree conflicts. Thanks!
Van Voorhees-59 and Van Voorhees-10 appear to represent the same person because: This is the oldest paternal ancetor in this chain in need of a merge into the NNS PPP. No tree conflicts. Lucas was indeed married to both women. The first wife Catherine died before the 1689 marriage to Jannetje. The daughter born 1693 is in error, at least on the mother attachmentt, so a not here that we can study and adjust that later. Thanks!
Thanks
Femmetje instead married Lucas' brother, Jan, in October 1680. Aucke born 1682 was one of Jan's children.
