Biography
Lafayette was born about 1869. He is the son of Isaac Vance and Susan Berry.
Research Notes
He is listed in both the 1870 and 1880 Census. In the 1900 and 1910 Census, his mother is listed as having four children living. His other four known siblings died in 1939, 1949, 1954, and 1962. Therefore his death date is estimated as between 1880 and 1900.
