Biography
Eric was born in 1887. He was the son of Josiah Vance and Jeanetta Mitchell. In 1914 in Randwick, New South Wales, he joined the C Company of the 2nd Battalion which became part of the 1st Brigade of the Australian Expeditionary Force. He was a Lance Corporal whe died in action at Gallipoli on 2 May 2015.
