Biography

Minerva was born about 1854. She passed away about 1915. She is the daughter of Abner Vance III and Christine Marie Elkins.

Lillian, I'm going to help you with these profiles. I apologize if I came across roughly, but the first information that came across in the GED file didn't look like a match at all because of Susannah Howard. I also missed the 2nd page of the 1860 census - Minerva is listed there as being 6 years old or being born in 1854. This evening I'm going to try to find as many sources as possible and run them by you to make sure we are on the same page and then we will merge these profiles with all the sources. I believe I also found Minerva in the 1900 Census where she lists her birth year as 1860 and she is widowed. Working together we should be able to get it straightened out :) I apologize for the confusion, but we can fix it!
