Hi Mary Jane,

I didn't change the death place for http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Henry-61 it already said KY as the death place as you can see in the change log. I just auto-corrected it to the spelled-out word. That's all.

Well, let me say first that sadly, Henry Collins is my brickwall, and what I have on him is his will, taxes, and census rev war service and land ownership. Its all noted on his profile. I cant even dream a scenario where I have a background on him aat thia stage. Saying that, you should think further outside the box. Rupe is a down south way of saying Rupert and that name does go across the pond quite easily... so dont assume that the name doesnt come from an english scot welsh or irish root. Have you tried looking for Rupert Collins? Just a thought. You also need to look for every collins in the area and make charts, which is what im doing w henry. There were john, michael, and bryce in pa where henry was, so im looking for all collins stuff on all of them...good luck!

i don't know anything about them. My nephew had the genealogy done by ancestry and they got this link which proved to be incorrect. I have been trying to clean it up. i never thought about them coming from the states, but I have gotten several DNA hits from Pennsylvania re Collins. My gr grandfather Alex was born in Trois Rivieres QUE. Census records say his father was born in Ontario, nothing more. I recently found a Collins family from Black River Settlement in Ontario who had children who went to Que. They have family names, Virginia, Elizabeth, Sophie. I can't get a lock on this either. My DNA doen't show any N.A. even though my maternal grandmother said it was there and my dad said his grandmother was N.A. Will look into the U.S. connection, thanks.
I've just started trying to outline the key characters in the area of my tree where Lewis Full (and variations), may show up. I think his connection to my tree is only by marriage, but right now, I am not even sure of the connection. I'll be digging for info to see if I can confirm or rule that out.

That part of my tree is full of families with common names, who seem to be cousins of varying degrees. I've had a tough time sorting out who is who, and lots of false starts.

In the next weeks, I'll be digging for documentation and assembling information I can find. Happy to share what ever I find (will post on the appropriate profile), and collaborate
