Hi Steve,

We have common ancestors. Underneath the result of running the “Relationship finder.”

Roelof and Steve are 7th cousins. Roelof Scholtens and Steve (Vander Leest) VanderLeest are both descendants of Willem Jans: Jans-2579.

Sometimes I will ask you to put me on the trusted list for some ancestors. Like for Lucas-7018 and Meijnen-15. I want to thank you for that.

Please can you put me on the trusted list for the following profiles: Ten Hoor-108 and Willems-73 ? My request was from Aug 21, 2018 and Sep 8, 2018.

Regards, Roelof

Hi cousin, Steve,

When I ran your name in the “Relationship finder,” I found that we're 28th cousins, and we share 4 other common ancestors: Thierry (Thierry II) "Dietrich, Theodoric, The Valiant Duke of Lorraine" (1044 - 1115) (WikiTree ID: Alsace-142) is only one of them. He is your 27th g-grandfather and my 28th.

Use the relationship finder in your profile drop down menu to explore some new branches of your ancestry by running it on my profile. Be sure to always select "SEARCH 30 GENERATIONS."

Then you can verify your connection with each new ancestor and follow their profile on wikitree.

Our shared ancestors from France and Germany will be listed on the search pages. I hope this may reveal some different people that you may not yet have known about.

Regards

Hi Steve,

I was wondering if perhaps you would be interested to work on the Portal World-The Netherlands with Melissa and Bill and hopefully more members ? I was thinking maybe we can make it a sub Project of the Dutch Roots Project, where you all can add or work on more specific things related to the Netherlands you would like to see added there or work on.

If you are interested just add your name to the list and let me know, or you can of course contact Melissa or Bill directly.

Greets from the Netherlands,

Bea :)

Did you know there's a new Source-a-Thon 2017 (first register here) organized for 30 September -2 October 2017 ? A huge event, to keep things organized we are going to work with teams again, since you're a member of our Project, perhaps you would like to join our Team Flying Dutchmen Team to help and source and improve Unsourced Netherlands profiles ?

We sure can use some help and you can win prizes, but the best thing of course is we are going to work on this together get as many as possible Unsourced profiles Sourced and improved and have a lot a fun ! :)

Hi Steve, I'm cleaning a lot of your profiles from duplicated merging details and in this proces put the Dutch Roots template on it. As soon as there's some more time we can look into those profiles to source them and write a nice profile on them.
