Biography

John was the son of Anthony Vanderpool and Nancy Campbell. He first married Nancy Petree Campbell and they had seven children. Three years after her death he married Millie Jane Smith-Clodfelter and they had five more children.

It is not known for sure where John is buried. He does not show up on the cemetery records for Union Cemetery where his wife, Nancy, is buried. And it appears that he is not buried with his second wife, Millia, either. At least there is either no headstone or it is one of the unreadable headstones in either cemetery
