Biography

Civil War soldier, E 33 En Mo Millnf. Enlisted July 28, 1862, disch Nov. 18, 1864. Born 13 Aug 1834. Affidavit says a record of his birth kept by father in family bible and record destroyed by fire in spring of 1852. That he made record of family in his own bible Sept 1854: "Aden Vanderpool, born August 13, 1834. Caroline E. Owen, born May 7, 1838. Married at Black Oak, Caldwell County, Missouri, September 28, 1854. Information compiled from Civil War records at the U. S. Archives, Washington, DC. Research by Pricia Fern Burk Paulkovich.
