Biography
Born to Percy Criddle and Sabina Elise Harrer Known as Elise Vane in Canada in 1871. He came to Canada in 1872 with his parents. Edwy Vane married Emily Louise Steer and had the following children: Thyra Aspelund; Harry Rupert Vane; John Cecil Ivan Vane; Margaret(Madge) Elise Everard and Mona Iris Vane . He was a half brother to the following: Elise Mabel Vane; Minnie Brandon; Isabel Knight; Harry Vane and Cecil Vane, Norman Criddle; Evelyn Criddle; Stuart Criddle; Beatrice Ellis; Maida Criddle and 3 others (these 3 may have died).
