Harriet Phoebe Vant made her appearance in the world on the 9th September 1861, at Takaka, Tasman, New Zealand, the third of four daughters born to William Vant and Harriet Maria Bomforth.[1]
Harriet married George James in 1894.[2]
Harriet and George had two known children, a daughter: Harriett Vaut (1895), and a son: Clement Barnford Vant (1899).
Harriet Phoebe James née Vant passed away on the 4th September 1924, in Te Aroha, Waikato, New Zealand, aged 63 years,[3] and was buried at the Te Aroha Cemetery, Waikato, on the 5th September.[4]
