Emma was born on September 24, 1927, in Lamesa, Tx. On Feb. 2, 1947, she married Earl Chancellor Ballew and they enjoyed 56 years of marriage. Emma was a homemaker and assisted her husband in the operation of Ballew Dental Lab locally. She was a very loving wife and mother. Her consuming love and close relationship with her grandchildren brought her great amounts of joy and contentment during her later years.
Emma was preceded in death by her husband, Earl, in 2004. She is survived by her sons, Dennis and wife Darlene and Steve and wife Terri; grandchildren, Jana Smith, Christy Noble, Mike Ballew, Keri Ballew and Scott Ballew. Emma is also survived by a sister, Rena Huff of Oklahoma City. She had three great-grandchildren.
