Biography

William Henry Varney was born on September 2, 1875, in Pike County, Kentucky, to Susannah Smith and James Mitchell Varney.[1][2][3]

Circa 1899, William married Dollie Smith.[4] They had at least 10 children.[5][6]

William died of "chronic nephritis", due to "prostatic hypertrophy", at Memorial Hospital in Williamson, West Virginia. He is buried in Rutherford Cemetery in Toler, Kentucky.[3]
