At the age of 25 he married 26 year old Bertha Winfield on 30 August 1924 at Durban, Natal, South Africa. His occupation was recorded as Manager Brickfields.[1]
They had two children (Joan Margaret and Gerald).
He passed away in 1933 at the age of 34[2]. Guy was killed instantly in a motor vehicle accident.
Intended place of burial was Mountain Rise Cemetery, Pietermaritzburg, Natal[3].
