Colin Vaughan was posted to Gibraltar working as an Operator for the Eastern Telegraph (fore-runner of Cable and Wireless). He departed London on the 19th of June 1920, for Gibraltar, on the P&O ship Morea.[4]
He married Rosa Rodriguez Corsi, a daughter of a Spanish doctor.

He is my great grand father by my mother's side family.My grandma is Maria del Carmen Vaughan and her grandfather is Ernest Alfred Vaughan who got married with Clara Notley. Colin went to Gibraltar then they were back to England ,Somerset where my grandma grew up in a village called Ilminster because her mum Rose was from Gibraltar they went to Gibraltar when my grand was about 17 years old.I am Spanish as my grandma got married with Luis Modet Garcia-Mier but living in Bristol as I moved 5 years ago to work for a while in England.
