WEDDING REPORT. On Wednesday evening (30th), at Holy Trinity Church, the Rev. Mr. Simpson joined in holy matrimony Miss Mabel Vaughan and Mr. A. B. Smith. The bride was given away by Mr. E. B. Parry and Mr. H. H. G. Meares acted as best man for the groom. The bride's beautiful frock was white satin morocain, with overdress of silver dress of silver lace, train of silver tissue lined with shell pink crepe de chine worked with true lovers knots in pale and blue ribbon, with touches of orange blossom, and set off by a handsomely embroidered turtle veil, The bridesmaid, Miss Nora Parry, wore shell pink georgette white cap with pink flowers. The trainbearers, Misses Thora and Grace Rogers, wore pale bolu georgette and white caps with pink flowers. The church was prettily decorated by friends of the bride. The attendance at the church taxed its capacity to the utmost, and after the ceremony was completed the congratulations and good wishes in the form of confetti and rice showered on the happy couple as they stepped from the porch were almost overwhelming. At the Commercial Hall the guests were received by the bride's mother (Mrs. E. B. Parry), Mr. Parry, and the bride and bridegroom. The wedding breakfast, spread on one continual table right round the hall was a pretty sight, with wedding cake set at the bridal table which overlooked all the guests, while tables in the centre and wings of the hall supported many of the handsome and costly gifts that had been bestowed on the bride. The attendance was quite a record, the guests having come from all parts of the Tableland and Roebourne districts. The ball which followed proved a great success, and was kept going till the early hours of the morning. Mr. and Mrs. Smith were farewelled from the hall in a most hearty manner, leaving by car for their home at Warrambie Station.
