Passed Away —The friends of Mr and Mrs T B McCarthy, of this town, will regret to learn of the death of Mrs Cards (nee Vaughan) which occurred at Melbourne in the earlier part of the week. Mrs Cards was the youngest daughter of the late John Vaughan, and sister of Mrs McCarthy and Mrs John Black, of Invercargill. She was a native of Riverton, and her former associates will receive the news of her demise with regret. [2]
